Community Hub
Opened in September 2024, our Community Hub is a welcoming, inclusive space at the heart of Great Lever.
It was created to reduce isolation, strengthen wellbeing and build community connection.
Who It’s For
The Hub is open to:
- People who want to connect with others
- Individuals looking for support or advice
- Those experiencing or recovering from domestic abuse
You do not need a referral to attend most activities.
What the Hub Offers
The Hub brings together a range of activities and support in one place. Services regularly delivered include advice, health support and community-led activities.
This includes:
- Weekly groups and community activities
- Peer support and wellbeing sessions
- Access to advice and support services
- Drop-in opportunities to connect with others
- Space for partner organisations to deliver support
It is a place where people can come as they are — whether they need support, connection, or a safe space to spend time.
We work alongside local partners, volunteers and community groups to ensure the Hub reflects the needs of the people who use it.
Not everyone needs crisis intervention. Sometimes, what’s needed is:
- A conversation over a cup of tea
- A chance to meet others
- Support before things escalate
- A space that feels safe and familiar
The Hub creates opportunities for connection.
